Call-for-Papers for the 10th International Conference on CO2 Utilization 2009

The International Conference on CO2 Utilization (ICCDU) conferences, held every other year (alternating between Asia, Europe and North America), aim to promote the research and development of utilization of carbon dioxide, the truly international field.

The 10th International Conference on Carbon Dioxide Utilization (ICCDU-X; URL Address: http://fuel.tju.edu.cn ) will be held at Tianjin, a city very close to Beijing, the Capital of China from May 17-23, 2009. Please mark your Calendar! We are looking forward to welcoming you in the Conference!

The scope of the ICCDU-X:

* CO₂ Capture, storage and sequestration

* Biology and biochemistry for CO₂ Utilization

* Applications of Plasmas, Microwave and Ionic Liquids for CO₂ Utilization

* Heterogeneous Catalysis of CO₂

* Homogeneous Catalysis of CO₂

* CO₂ as Oxidant

* Application of Supercritical CO₂

* Utilization of CO₂ Hydrates

* General Uses of CO₂

* Process Intensification for CO₂ Utilization

* Zero or Low CO₂ Emission Processes

* Theoretical Studies and Molecular Modeling

The official language of the conference will be English.

There will be plenary lectures, keynote presentations, oral sessions and poster sessions in ICCDU-X. A post workshop on CO₂ chemistry will be arranged.

We will start to collect a 200-word abstract from September 1, 2008. Please submit the abstract by email only to the Secretary of ICCDU X. The email address is coronacj@tju.edu.cn. Please feel free to contact the Organizer by email if you need any assistance with it. The deadline for the online submission is January 31, 2009.

Accepted abstracts, for all the presentations, will be published in the Abstracts of ICCDU X. The peer reviewed full-length manuscripts will be published in a special issue of an international journal to be announced at the website of the ICCDU-X (http://fuel.tju.edu.cn).
