Princeton, NJ - July 23, 2010 - PharmaNet Development Group, Inc., a leading global provider of drug development services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, generic drug and medical device companies, today announced a strategic collaboration with Abacus International, one of the largest independent health economic consultancies in Europe. The strategic collaboration builds on the organizations' common purpose of supporting the development of research-based evidence throughout the drug/device lifecycle to document a product's clinical and economic value. PharmaNet brings to the collaboration its industry leading experience in the design and implementation of clinical trials and prospective "real world" research studies while Abacus provides focused expertise in health economics, health technology assessment and market access solutions.
