Scientists have used cofactors to control the enantioselectivity of supramolecular transition metal catalysts, enabling the asymmetric hydrogenation of a series of acrylates and related compounds with remarkably high selectivities. This strategy could be useful in the search for new catalysts for fine chemical production.   More...
