New online mobile phone app for users of CME Medical T34TM ambulatory syringe pump

CME Medical, the UK’s fastest growing specialist infusion company, has launched a new online mobile phone app for users of the company’s T34TM Ambulatory Syringe Pump. The app demonstrates the company’s commitment to developing accessible education programmes for all of its customers. It incorporates information which is also available in printed Quick User Guides and helps people through the process of using the pump. The app can be used on any device with an internet connection.

The T34TM is the safety standard in ambulatory syringe pumps – offering a comprehensive range of features designed to maximise safe and simple administration of medication, in both inpatient and outpatient environments. The app provides a quick and easy reference guide for clinicians or anyone using the T34TM Ambulatory Syringe Pump with a patient, on how to prepare it ready for an infusion to start, how to monitor it correctly and what the various alerts and alarms mean. There is also a quick troubleshooting guide.

The app is designed to provide a quick and convenient reminder of how to use the pump and should only be used by someone who has already had full training on using the T34TM and should be used in conjunction with the full operating manual.

Andrew Churnside, Sales and Marketing Director for CME Medical, said: “We are committed to providing high quality and convenient training and support information for our customers. We recently launched our new e-learning programme accessed via a log in training portal on the CME Medical website. This is the gateway to infusion device training, information guides and operation manuals; clinical applications and drug delivery information; plus CME Medical’s training standards and provisions. Our new online mobile phone app is the latest addition to our training portfolio to enable users of our T34TM to find the information they need quickly and easily,” he said.

Anyone wishing to use the new online mobile app can do so via the CME Medical website.
