(May 10, 2007) ClinPhone, the leading Clinical Technology Organization, today announced that Kendle, a leading global clinical research organization, has signed an agreement to utilize ClinPhone EDC to standardize its method of capturing clinical data for its biopharmaceutical customers worldwide.

“Delivery of high-quality clinical trial data is key to Kendle’s global success”, said Sylva Collins, PhD, Vice President, Global Biometrics. “This agreement positions us to advance to the forefront of the dynamic clinical data management market.”

ClinPhone EDC (formerly known as DataLabs Clinical) is based on Microsoft connected technology and servers, providing end-users with an intuitive, familiar, and easy-to-use experience. Forrester research ranked ClinPhone EDC software as the number one product in the industry in terms of ease of use.

Kendle will implement the technology to ensure optimum delivery of high-quality clinical data. The company will utilize ClinPhone EDC across its worldwide data management programmes to offer market-leading EDC solutions to its customers.

Steve Kent, ClinPhone CEO, stated; “I am delighted to announce this agreement between ClinPhone and Kendle, two leaders in their respective fields. Through this agreement Kendle will provide customers with expert clinical data management staff coupled with best-of-breed software to manage their studies and collect clinical data more efficiently than ever before.”

ClinPhone recently was named as the first clinical technology organization to receive CDISC (Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium) certification, which verifies that this powerful EDC product has been successfully validated and given CDISC-certified status for its ODM Export capabilities. This adherence to CDISC standards, when coupled with the power of the ClinPhone Connect middleware product for integration, makes clinical system interoperability a reality today.
