Archiv der Pharmazie focuses on papers combining synthetic organic chemistry, structural biology, molecular modeling, bioorganic chemistry, natural products chemistry, biochemistry or analytical methods with pharmaceutical or medicinal aspects, such as biological activity. Alongside original research papers, 2005 will see a series of special issues, as well as the addition of reviews, mini reviews, highlights, and other new sections. A new Editorial Board: as of 2005, the journal benefi ts from a new Editorial Board, under the expert supervision of Holger Stark, Frankfurt – its recently appointed Editor-in-Chief. A new Face: A new cover underlines the journal‘s new role with the new subtitle reflecting the shift in emphasis. Naturally, the page layout will also be updated to remain in line with these exciting changes.
