 trafast Spectroscopy workshop. This course is intended to give the par
 ticipants an in-depth introduction to the principles of time-resolved 
 fluorescence and absorption spectroscopy. The expected participants wi
 ll be scientists who are currently using or intend to use ultrafast sp
 ectroscopy in their research. While most attendees will have some know
 ledge of time-resolved spectroscopy\, other participants from differen
 t research areas will have an opportunity to get a powerful introducti
