The International Carbohydrate Symposium (ICS) is the most important event in carbohydrate chemistry and biochemistry, biennially organized under the auspices of the International Carbohydrate Organization (ICO). Since the first meeting held in1960 (Gif-sur-Yvette, France), ICS is going to enjoy its 50th anniversary in 2010. Reflecting rapid expansion of the field, the scope of the symposium will be broad. It will cover diverse aspects of glycosciences, which include chemical and enzymatic synthesis, chemical biology, glycobiology, therapeutics, structural biology, and industrial applications.
Other topics
Synthesis and Reactions, Chemical Biology, Analytical Methods, Enzymology, Glycobiology, Therapeutics, Structural Biology, Glycomics, Informatics, Materials and Biotechnology, Industrial Applications
