Learn the latest in: heterocyclic synthesis, carbocyclic synthesis, natural product total synthesis, organic functional group transformation, stereoselective synthesis; and, organometallics in organic synthesis.

Key Topics * Heterocyclic synthesis * Carbocyclic synthesis * Natural product total synthesis * Organic functional group transformation * Stereoselective synthesis * Organometallics in organic synthesis

Speakers

Douglass F. Taber has a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Columbia University in 1974 (G. Stork) and spent a postdoctoral year at the University of Wisconsin (B.M. Trost). He is currently Professor of Chemistry at the University of Delaware and has published more than 150 research papers on organic synthesis and organometallic chemistry. He is the author of the popular weekly web-based Organic Highlights, free online journal which publishes short reviews of organic, bioorganic, organometallic and microwave chemistry, total synthesis of natural products and multi component reactions.
