Recognizing increasing needs in new materials and applications of pervaporation, vapor permeation and membrane distillation processes, Membrane Separation Processes Research Group from Nicolaus Copernicus University (Toruń, Poland) decided to organize in April 2010 International Conference on Pervaporation and Vapor Permeation. Conference Topics to be Covered: 1. Fundamentals of pervaporation, vapor permeation and membrane distillation processes. 2. New membrane materials (polymeric/inorganic). 3. Applications: · dehydration, removal of organics from water, organic-organic separation; · large scale applications, hybrid industrial operations including PV/VP; · membrane distillation; · small scale and niche applications. 4. Environmental impact and economics of industrial plants.

Other topics

membrane separations
