More and more technology is available to assist drug discovery research, and more and more money is spent by pharmaceutical companies on finding new drugs. Yet the number of new medicines being brought to the market is not increasing. This symposium brings together leading academic and industrial speakers to provide a strategic overview of modern drug discovery. There will be an emphasis on how to improve the process to help discover better medicines more effectively.
