DESCRIPTION:The 7th Winter Symposium on Chemometrics (WSC-7) will be h
 eld near Saint Petersburg\, Russia in February 15-19\, 2010.\n\nThe co
 nference is organized under the auspices of the Russian Chemometrics S
 ociety\, Saint Petersburg State Technological University of Plant Poly
 mers\, ACABS Research Group of University of Aalborg (Esbjerg)\, and L
 appeenranta University of Technology. \n\nThe conference brings togeth
 er both academic scientists and industrial experts providing all condi
 tions for their fruitful communication.\n\nTraditionally\, WSC is frie
 ndly to young scientists and those beginning to carve their way in the
  data analysis. Participants are invited to deliver not only their fin
 al results but also discuss preliminary problem statements and methods
 \, all in a strictly friendly atmosphere\n\nThe submitted manuscripts 
 of the previous WSC-6 conference have recently been published in a spe
 cial issue of Chemomerics and Intelligent Laboratory Systems (V 97\, I
